The aim of the investigation is to estimate the development of stomatological aid to children in Ukraine under the present conditions on the basis of the complex social and hygienic study; to offer the effective methods of improvement of therapeutic-preventive stomatological aid to children and organizational measures at primary and secondary prophylaxis of the main dental diseases. The methods of the investigation are epidemiological, statistical, analytical. The stomatological morbidity of children in Ukraine was monitored; the state of pediatric dentistry service in Ukrainian regions at 2002-2012 was studied. The main principles of the work of school dental office at present conditions were elaborated. The role of dental hygienist at the realization of the preventive dental aid in organized groups of children was determined. The criteria of the estimation of dental aid to the population of Ukraine are suggested for putting in use at therapeutic and preventive stomatological establishments. There were published: 1 monograph, 3 analytical reviews, 3 manuals; 11 articles, 9 theses. The materials of the SRD were presented at the 2nd National Stomatological Congress; The International Medical Forum, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine; 5 theoretical and practical conferences, counsel, dedicated to the problems of municipal prevention in Ukraine, 1 seminar.
