Methods used during investigation course: clinical and instrumental (anthropometry, electrocardiography), clinical-laboratory, biochemical and molecular-genetic (conductometric, spectrophotometric, turbidimetric, enzyme, enzyme immunoassay, polymerase chain reaction with electrophoretic scheme of result detection), cytological, cytomorphometric, immunocytochemical (light microscopy), and statistical. Equipment used: hematological, biochemical and enzyme immunoassay analyzers aggregometer, photometer, thermocycler, a microscope. A frequency of cyclooxygenase-1 (PTGS1) gene C50T polymorphism and platelet glycoprotein receptor IIIa (ITGB3) gene T1565S polymorphism in patients with CHD and control patients, residents of Kharkiv region, was revealed. An association of PTGS1 and ITGB3 genes polymorphisms with aggregation resistance to antiplatelet preparations (based on arachidonic acid and ADP-induced platelet aggregation estimation) in patients with IHD disease was found. It was established that the presence of PTGS1 gene C50T polymorphism mutant allele T and ITGB3 gene T1565S polymorphism C allele associated with increased likelihood of cardiovascular complications developing at antiplatelet therapy in patients with ischemic heart disease during prolonged long-term follow-up.
