Methods: immunofermentative, chemoluminiscentic. Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) was determined in prognosis of exitus letalis. As a cut-off level of MMP-9 was 78,2 ng/ml that in the first day of disease with sensitivity 100% and specificity 57,1% allow to prognose exitus letalis during hospital period of ACS. Prognostic sensitivity and specificity of MMP-9 due to exitus letalis after 6 month were accordingly 75,0% and 58,2% Summ of signs - the level of heart fatty acyd binding protein (HFABP), age, glucose, Killip heart failure - allow to prognose exitus letalis in patients with acute myocardial infarction with sensitivity 88,2% and specificity 77,9%. Data confirm certain interrelation benween HFABP and myocardial damage degree. HFABP as an independent biomarker of prognosis is low.
