The object of study are the natural systems in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve. The purpose of research – to explore the current state of flora and fauna in the DBR and an inventory of invasive species. Research methods were mostly conventional techniques botanical, hydrobiological, ichthyological, herpetological and ornithological studies. In the Sasyk Lake and Ermakov Island noted 53 invasive plant species, and the components of the studied fauna are 9 invasive species, analyzing their impact on native species. The results can be used in the "Chronicles of Nature of the DBR" in 2013, state environmental services, quarantine services in the region, research and agricultural institutions, and stakeholders and nature users in DBR.
