The purpose of the work - to study the inversion transphase catalysis (ITC) of sulfonic acid halides reactions with amines and carboxylates; antioxidant activity of hydrazones of gossypol, the structure and rheological properties of the surface layers of cationic surfactants. Research methods - infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, dilated rheometric, tensiometry, quantum-chemical calculations. The rheological characteristics of surface layers of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide at the interface aqueous solution - air have been investigated. It has been established that the combination of the high elastic modulus and viscosity characterized the surface layers of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as a non-Newtonian elastic films. The inversion transphase catalysis reactions of acid halides of sulfonic acids and carboxylates with amines were studied. It is shown that the most important for the realization of the reaction of amines with acid halides of sulfonic acids are the solubility in the organic phase and the steric accessibility of nitrogen atom. The reactions of acid halides of sulfonic acids with the carboxylates leads to formation of the mixed anhydrides, which in conditions of ITC gave the products of hydrolysis. The reactions of imino- derivatives of gossypol with the stable free radical DPPH and ABTS · + in ethanol were studied . It was found that modification of gossypol by introducing fragments of various amines and hydrazines is very effective and promising way of obtaining new antioxidants. The novelty of the work lies in the development ecologically safe methods of synthesis of benzo sulfonamides. Scientific significance is determined in synthesis of new biologically active derivatives of gossypol. Practical importance is in finding ways to directional control of properties of surfactants.
