Assess the prospects of using of the synthesized compounds as sensors for alkali metal cations. Research methods - organic synthetsis, NMR spectroscopy, mass-spectrometry, UV-Vis and luminescence spectroscopy. A new method developed and new biscrown ethers containing central quinoxaline moiety and benzo-15-crown-5, and benzo-18-crown-6 residues synthesized. Their stability constants with alkali metal cations determined. It is shown that the receptor based on benzo-15-crown-5 may be used for luminescent determination of rubidium and potassium cations in the presence of excess sodium cations. This suggests the prospects of creating new chemosensors based on the obtained biscrown ethers suitable for the selective luminescence determination of alkali metal cations.
