In the course of research have been investigated the collections from three medieval sites of Southern and South-Western Crimea. From the all studied ceramic materials were distinguished four groups of import Byzantine pottery which got to the Crimea from the second half of the 13th till the end of 14th - early 15th c. The archival sources related to the origin of these collections were collected and studied; was compiled an illustrated catalog of this pottery. Also were designed their scientific classification, were determined their chronology and were made the comparative analysis of morphological and stylistic features. 41 samples were selected for arheometryc studies in the Laboratory of ceramology (CNRS UMR 5138) in Leon (France). As a result it has been possible to correct a chronology at least of two groups of Byzantine ceramic imports which was common in the Black Sea. Also based on the materials involved in the study were able to establish that the decorative style of Byzantine ceramics of Elaborate Incised Ware group had a significant influence on the local ceramic production of Crimea of the end of 14th - first half of 15th c.
