The object of research is the synthesis of new amphiphilic cationic and anionic calixarenes, the study of physical and chemical properties of their aqueous solutions and study of their interaction with the natural biopolymers: DNA and peptides. Accordingly, the goal of the work is the molecular design and synthesis of amphiphilic calixarenes functionalized with various long alkyl groups at the lower rim, and N,N-dimethylethylendiamine, choline, phosphonic and methylenebisphosphonic groups at the upper rim of the macrocycle as well as the study of the spatial structure, physico-chemical properties and relationships "structure - activity" of the compounds obtained. All new amphiphilic calixarenes can form by self-association in aqueous solutions micelle-like nanoparticles. Such self-associates form with natural DNA molecules and peptides aggregates capable of promoting transport of these biopolymers into cells.
