The aim of the project is determination of the main regularities of the processes of the transfer and mixing by the localized and distributed vortex structures, design of the methods and the criteria for determination of the regions of intensive chaotic advection in the specified velocity field. The research methods are the theoretical analysis and numerical experiment. The main idea of the research is employment of Lagrangian description of motion in the hydromechanics. The Lagrangian description consists in studing of trajectories of Lagrangian particle system at the Eulerian velocity field.
