Changes in isotopic composition of the WWER-1000 reactor internal component was obtained for neutron irradiation during long time. The dependencies of induced activity and dose rates, generation of hydrogen and helium on irradiation time were calculated. Criteria for optimal decision making in project management in research organizations were analyzed. The solution that is optimal for most criteria is recommended for practical application.
