Development of information and computer technologies for study and modeling of spatial time regularities of plant cover organization. Methods of investigation. Original hierarchic methods of multispectral image segmenation, non-parameter methods of data clastereization developed by scientists of Institute of Computer Technologies SB RAS, and also author's method of synphytoindication were used to process data. Investigations were realized iat five key polygons of different community types of steppe vegetation, for which the pictures of extrahigh pictures of different distinct ability (1-5 m/pixel) such sensors as World View-2, Quick Bird, IKONOS, Pleiades and others. Field investigations included tieness of polygons, contouring its plots, geobotanical releves of phytocoenoses. As a result of further development of data there were found the basic subdivisions of polygon vegetation, there were got syntaxonomical schemes and map-graphic models of vegetation with legends to them, and synphytoindication assessment of steppe communities and forecast of their possible changes. Practical importance is in an assessment of diversity of inbalanced, dynamic steppe ecosystems, which are object to degradation and are badly restored.
