To study the effect of foliar nutrition of modern hybrids and harvesting terms on the yield, sugar content and economic efficiency of sugar beet cultivation in condi-tions of the right-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Research objects: sugar beet, spring barley, winter wheat, spring vetch, mineral and or-ganic fertilizers, soil, weeds. Research methods: field trials, laboratory agrochemical research, analytical generalization of experimental data; mathematical and statistical method - to assess data reliability; com-parative and calculative - to determine economic efficiency of devel-opments. Scientific and methodological principles of short crop rota-tions with sugar beet are developed on the basis of conducting basic tillage of different depth (minimum and No-till) for the crops of short crop rotation of grain and beet crop rotation, organic and mineral fer-tilization system (N60-160P20-120K30-90 + by-products) that improve soil properties, enhance accumulation and saving of moisture, reduce weed infestation of crops by 98.5 % and obtaining of grain yield of winter wheat at the level of 4.5-5.7 t/ha, spring barley - 3.6-5.0 t/ha, spring vetch - 2.7-3.5 t/ha, sugar beet - 55.3-59.8 t/ha under sugar content of roots 16,4-16,7 % and profitability of crop rotation depend-ing on tillage - 69.6-76.7 %.
