Methods of investigation: histological, histochemical, impregnation, immunohistochemical. Differences in frequency and spread of EMT among different histological types of carcinomas were ascertained. Suppressive action of EMT onto proliferative activity, immune suppression and, on the contrary, stimulatory action of EMT onto neoangiogenesis and capability of neoplastic cells to invade vessels was shown.
