It was shown that the emission spectrum of Ca3(1-x)Ce3xSc2Si3O12 is a superposition of two broad bands with maxima at 507 и 550 nm, which are due to 5d ? 4f transitions of Се3+ ions. The optimal Се3+ concentration equals to 1.0-2.0 at.%. The influence of different fluxes on the luminescence intensity of Ca3(1-х)Ce3хSc2Si3O12 (х= 0.01) was also studied. It was found that the use of NaF allows one to increase the luminescence intensity by 9-23%. Based on the results obtained the reglament for synthesis of material with composition Ca3(1-х-y)Ce3хNa3ySc2Si3O12 (х= y= 0.01), which is suitable for its commercial production, was developed.
