The research object – monuments of the traditional folk culture from Polissia radioactive contaminated districts affected by the Chornobyl disaster. The research objective – preservation of items of traditional folk household and art of the injured territories inhabitants, formation of the museum-archival fund of the Ukrainian Polissia ethnocultural heritage. The research methods: field collecting of ethnographic materials, photo fixation and scientific inventory of material monuments. Collecting movable ethnographic monuments in 29 villages of Zarichnenskyi and Dubrovytskyi districts, Rivnenska region took place in 2010 within the complex historical and ethnographic expedition, as well as the scientific inventory of these monuments was held. In addition, the scientific inventory of the museum items collected in the affected Polissia districts was carried out. The results of works executed include 573 new traditional folk culture monuments, 719 museum items inventoried. The NDR results obtained will be used during formation of the Museum-archive of the Ukrainian Polissia injured districts ethocultural heritage. Owing to the rapid leaps of the technology development as well as to the Chornobyl disaster influence which change the Polissia inhabitants way of life basically, the collecting ethnographic monuments within the territory of injured districts should be continued immediately.
