To study functional state of the cardiovascular system in case of rheumatism in children and on the basis of the detected disorders to improve the treatment. It is shown that in children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis regardless of the disease form the significant stiffening of the common carotid artery with the duration of the disease more than 2 years is observed. There were observed changes of the vessel wall by way of thickening of the intima-media complex and index advance of the stiffening of the common carotid artery in children with systemic lupus erythematosus. The pathological changes of the microcircular bed were detected in 100% of children with juvenile systemic scleroderma when doing capillaroscopy of the fingernail bed. The value of the total index of the pathological process activity has a negative influence on the microcircular bed state in these patients. The results of the research are the base for methodological recommendations, patents, innovations, monographs, which are implemented into the health care practice.
