There was carried out scientific content analysis of the information base of international and national normative legal documents effective in Ukraine. There were established organizational, legal and medical factors of the unsatisfactory development of the system of palliative and hospice care in Ukraine. There were suggested optimal forms and models of the organization of palliative and hospice care and the expansion of its accessibility for the population. The results of the research are the base for methodological recommendations, informational letter and articles which are implemented into the health care practice.
