The presence of certain elements of the system of enterosorbents application in Ukraine is found to be conditioned by the growth of human and technological burden on the environment, which exceeds the corresponding figures in developed countries. The increase in the share of respiratory and digestive diseases is revealed to have been an important medical and social problem in Ukraine during 2005-2006. The analysis of enterosorbents use showed the presence of significant organizational gaps. Research results and revealed gaps allowed scientifical justifying the optimization model for enterosorbents application. An integrated system approach allowed offering a functional and organizational model of enterosorbents application with introduction of existing but partially functionally modified and new elements integrating of which created the model designed to achieve the objectives of the study. The proposed optimization model for enterosorbents application received a positive assessment of independent experts, proved the medical and social economic efficiency and can be recommended during optimization activities in the field of health care Ukraine.
