As a result of the definition of clinical, hematological and immunological features of NHL course during the treatment, there was revealed the high frequency of infectious complications, mainly the upper respiratory tract bacterial infections. Identification of active substances in patients with polycythemia vera showed its essential diagnostic and prognostic value in clinical practice. The study of free radical oxidation of lipids and the antioxidant system in patients with leukemia revealed that the development of peroxidation syndrome in patients with leukemia leads to the dysfunction of the antioxidant system, worsening of the antioxidant protection insufficiency, which provides the clinical and pathogenetic justification of using antioxidants in therapeutic regimens that enhance the effectiveness of cytostatic therapy.
