Purposes of research: finding of optimal conditions for effective implementation of phase transfer nitration of polycyclic arenes with low, middle, and high reactivities into the novel nitrating systems aqueous phosphoric acid / sodium nitrite - benzene, study of kinetic peculiarities, mechanism, product compositions, topology of reactions; search of optimal areas for separation of components of cokechemistry fractions. Research methods: kinetic methods, gas-liquid chromatography , spectroscopy. The uncatalytic and catalytic rates of phase transfer nitration of polycyclic arenes in systems 86 %, 67 %, and 44 % phosphoric acid / sodium nitrite - benzene were determinated. The initial reaction orders concerning reagent have been found as the first ones, and those concerning aromatic substrate both first and zero. The topology of studied processes was characterized on basis of modern macrokinetics conceptions. Substrate relationships for arenes have been obtained by concurrent methods. It was indicated that active form of reagent is monohydrate of nitrosonium NO+.H2O, substrate activates to cation radical. The investigated systems as to the effectivity of phase transfer catalytic obtainment of nitroarenes don't be worse than the ones with nitric or sulfuric acids, but and do outdo theirs. Reaction mechanisms in systems with phosphoric acid or sulfuric acid present as identical. The first experiments at three-phase systems and at new combined approaches to nitration showed their effectivity and interesting perspective. The catalytic operation of quaternary onium salts in systems solid - liquid for reaction of obtaining of potassium carbasolate determinated. The comparative behaviour with crown ether was adduced. Anthracene fraction have been tested as alternative raw material for separation of antracene and carbasole. Conditions concerning the preliminary processing of anthracene fraction were determinated.
