The method of production of frameless superconducting solenoids, which allows significantly reducing degradation of critical current and the number of cycles of training solenoid in the tests, was described. The methods of protection of a superconducting solenoid at low-temperature testing and training with the aim of increasing the value of the magnetic induction in the process of tuning the operating parameters and avoidance of damage to the winding of the solenoid were analyzed. Low-temperature tests of the experimental sample of a superconducting solenoid were conducted and the results of which are showed that the solenoid allows to reach the induction of a magnetic field of about 9 T with uniformity of not more than 5*10-4 relative units on the length of 15 mm and 1*10-3 on a length of 30 mm in the direction of its axis.
