Subject of investigation is the formation of a high developed humanitarian environment in the technical college/university. The actuality of the problem stems from the increased understanding that not only technical and technological functions are very important for a modern engineer, but also a number of social functions (socio-economic, managerial, humanistic, and cultural). Technical colleges/universities should be considered as a special socio-cultural institution designed to meet the needs and interests of students, to develop their abilities in the spiritual, moral and humanistic, and professional attitude that is only feasible in conditions of a developed humanitarian environment. It is the most necessary principle of functioning of the system of higher technical education. Taking care of the formation and improvement of a developed humanitarian environment should be a priority for the technical colleges/university team. The purpose of the fourth phase of the investigation is 1) to conduct pedagogical experiments with the aim to improve the educational work in the selected structural components of the humanitarian environment of the technical college/university, 2) to make adjustments to the educational process, and 3) to determine the main directions of the formation of the humanitarian environment of the technical college/university, based on the concepts developed and conducted during the Pilot experiment. The experiment was based on a hypothesis that the formation of humanitarian environment must be an interest of all departments of the technical college/university, under the leadership of Social - Humanitarian Department. Novelty: Based on the results of the pedagogical experiment, it has been justified that the use of the innovative forms and methods of teaching and educational work will contribute to a competitive specialist only in conditions of the developed humanitarian environment of the technical college/university. Efficiency: Strengthening of the humanitarian component in the educational process of the technical college/university. The results of the investigation must be incorporated into the learning process and proposed (through publications and presentations at scientific and scientific - methodical conferences) for testing in other Ukrainian technical colleges/universities.
