Objective: to establish a scientific bibliographic database for Ukrainian biographical dictionary. Ways to implement the theme is historical and bibliographical publications, historical and book study research bibliographies, bibliographical essays on cultural and scientific figures of Ukraine. These editions include extensive use of printed and archival sources, objective assessment of a person, an analysis of scientific or creative works, a full-scale bibliography of publications and literature about it. Object of research methodology involves the selection of persons as of national importance and regional scale, enriching their academic experience or creative output of humanity and to some extent influenced the social development of Ukraine as a whole and its individual regions. These people - famous Ukrainian writers Iryna Vilde, Michael Rudnytsky, a prominent Ukrainian historian Myron Korduba, publisher Yuri Tyshchenko. In the scientific circulation were introduced new, previously unknown names, such as Ukrainian librarians Kuzelya Zenon and Ivan Kalinovych, journalist and military leader Vasily Kuchabskyi , figures of librarianship in Galicia - Natalia Doroshenko, Constantine Malicka, Kost' Pankivskyj, Michael Haluschynskyy. Such publication shall submit biographical and bibliographical information in accordance with the latest scientific developments that allows them to be a source for Ukrainian biographical dictionary, which is engaged in training, mostly by National Library of Ukraine named after V. I. Vernadsky.
