From the first set - the billets with tiny size grains - the mirror specimens were fabricated, and the experiments on long-term sputtering by ions of deuterium plasma (Mo specimens) and by ions of argon plasma (W specimens) were provided. The second set includes 14 W billets with different structures (all of the same size 10x10x2 мм2) and two ones made of alloy with molybdenum as a main component. The structure and mechanical properties of all billets were studied in China. Later on (in 2014) the mirror specimens will be fabricated from these billets and the experiments on effects of long-term sputtering and development of surface structure will be provided (in Kharkov). For improving vacuum conditions in the vacuum chamber of the DSM-2 stand, where these experiments will be done, the essential modernization of the pumping system has been carried out.5481 Product Description popup.authors
