Pretreatment of Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings with nitric oxide donors, followed by irradiation prevents depolymerization of microtubules that indicates the functional connection between the nitric oxide level in the cells and resistance of plant cytoskeleton to ultraviolet B. Obtained results are a theoretical basis for the development of effective biotechnological approaches for protecting plants from unfavorable abiotic factors.
