The program of collaborative studies was discussed and agreed in all necessary details and the first single-molecular imaged for carbon nanoparticles were obtained. Preliminary data has shown that they possess sufficiently high brightness and photostability. It was shown that the measurements of their individual emission spectra and lifetimes are possible and such measurements have begun. These nanostructures were found amenable also for the simultaneous measurements by combination of the methods of fluorescence microscopy and atomic force microscopy.
