However, the behavioral tests have clearly shown that PKC? inhibition has no effect on thermal and mechanical sensitivity of healthy experimental animals. Experimental studies of peripheral sensitivity in vivo, which were carried out within a framework of the project using different animal groups and different methods of AS ODN delivery revealed a certain therapeutic effect of PKC? inhibition in the lumbar segment of spinal cord on the abatement of painful sensations under persistent peripheral inflammation in case of AS ODN post-treatment produced by a catheter inserted in the spinal canal. Local inhibition of the PKC? by this AS ODN post-treatment in the lumbar segment of spinal cord significantly decreased thermal hypersensitivity of rats, which was caused by development and maintenance of inflammatory pain, by the third day after the induction of chronic inflammation. I.e we revealed a mild shortening of the duration of inflammatory pain maintenance period under condition of PKC? inhibition. Product Description popup.authors Білан П.В. Войтенко Н.В.
