Report on research "The diagnostic technique for electronic's infrared materials quolity characterization development": 56 p., 36 fig., 2 tables., 23 references. Reasons for the job - GDR "The diagnostic technique for electronic's infrared materials quolity characterization development" is performed in the framework of scientific and technological objectives "Development and creation of new certification and metrology sensor products: multifunctional materials, sensors, biomultysensoriv, ??electronic devices , analytical instrumentation and information systems, "according to the State Target Scientific and Technical Program" Development and manufacturing of sensor products "for 2008-2012, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 05 December 2007 № 1395, according to the order of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine of 04 March 2011 № 215. Objective: To develop and create diagnostic methods and apparatus for controlling infrared materials for electronic equipment. Today, devices that operate in the infrared occupy a large share in the instrument. This situation is explained by the fact that the infrared provides information that significantly enhances a person lets you explore the human condition (thermal image), state structures, buildings and losses of heat in the utilities sector to identify and measure thermal emissions harmful to the environment, to learn even at 'objects of the universe, which previously could not be determined in the visible range of light, security and safety (security systems, surveillance and sighting devices) to create modern weapons systems. Infrared (IR) image forming optical system is made of transparent material in this range. As the most famous and versatile optical material is germanium, which has high transparency (with special enlightenment working surfaces) in a wide range of infrared radiation. But control of defects in the material in the visible range of light is complicated and requires special equipment. Therefore, the research topic is relevant. Methods - Optical methods of nondestructive control methods of the system and comparative analysis. Results and innovation - scientific novelty of the results of the study is that first developed express suitable for industrial use optical methods to control crystals transparent in the infrared (IR) and optical bands of light. The novelty of technical solutions developed during the project, confirmed and protected by 12 patents of Ukraine. Also, research results presented in two scientific articles and reported on twenty Jubilee International Conference "Modern methods and means of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics" (Yalta). Keywords: optical nondestructive testing, germanium, sapphire, polarized radiation, infrared equipment.
