Highly active catalysts for selective oxidation of CO in the presence of H2, which can be used for removal of CO impurities from gas mixtures, were obtained. X-Ray structure study of molten Al-Si, Ni-Si and Al-Co-S systems was performed and the atom arrangement in the investigated melts at short and medium distances was analyzed in details. Enthalpies of mixing of molten systems Fe-Sb at 1820 K, Fe-(Pr, Nd) at 1550-1829 K were determined. Concentration dependences of enthalpies of mixing in molten Fe-Si(Sb) systems were simulated using "surrounded atom" and associated ideal solution models.
