The aim of our investigation is to estimate human body psychophysiological reactions under the influence of extreme cryotherapy, to develop therapeutic regimens of locomotor system diseases, vascular disorders, neurosis, neurosis-like states, psoriasis, to prove this method safety and possibility to predict human psychophysiological changes under the influence of extremely low temperature. We used clinical, physiological, clinico-laboratorial, biochemical, psychological, biophysical and mathematical methods of investigation. Apparatus: Cryochamber of general air cryotherapy "Cryo Therapy Chamber "Zimmer Midizin Systeme" (Germany), diagnostic automatic complex "Cardio +" (NPO "Metecol" Ukraine), digital blood pressure meter AD and ЧСС UA - 787 (AND, Japan), ultrasonic diagnostic scanner "EUB-5500" (HITACHI, Japan), infrared medical thermometer DT - 635 (AND, Japan), electrotherapeutic and electrodiagnostic apparatus "MYOMED 932" (Enraf - Nonius, Netherlands), rheographic complex "Reocom" (Ukraine), computer electroencephalograph BRAINTEST (Ukraine), semi-unmanned biochemical analyzer "Human" (Humalizer, Germany), self-holding immunoenzymometric analyzer Еlх800 "BioStream" (USA), digital photoelectric colorimeter "APEL" (Japan), constant-temperature bath for researches of transparent paries clotting "Medlabortehnica" (Ukraine), computer based diagnostic tear of quick visual reactions (Y.E. Liakh, V.G. Gurianov), licensed software package for practical statistics MedStat (Y.E. Liakh, V.G. Gurianov), close procedures. Obtained results and their novelty: this is the first investigation of extremely low temperature (- 110 оС) influence upon functional state of human nervous system, thermotaxis indices, external respiration indices, variability of cardiac rhythm, immune responses, psychoemotional activity. The safety of extreme cryotherapy was proved evidentially. Possibility of cryotherapy usage for optimization of human psychophysiological state due to compensatory and adaptation enhancement was proved for the first time ever. The indications and contra indications of extreme clinical cryotherapy were specified. The mathematical models and criterion for estimation and control of human thermotaxis system reactions during extreme cryotherapy procedures were set up for the first time ever. The test systems for instant diagnosis and prognostication were developed in terms of Doppler sonography and reoencephalographic visualization indicants. Circulatory response criterion during extreme cryotherapy procedures and vascular disorders cognitive function (discirculatory encephalopathy) criterion were developed. The new schemes of combined modality extreme cryotherapeutic treatment were developed and certified for the patients who suffer of locomotor system diseases, vascular disorders, neurosis and neurosis-like states. The clinical protocols for extreme cryotherapy usage during integrated treatment of above mentioned patients were developed, methodology of general air cryotherapy was improved. The implementation of this research work improved the effectiveness of combined modality treatment of patients who suffer of locomotor system diseases, vascular disorders, neurosis and neurosis-like states. This work promoted cardiovascular and thermal control systems negative responses during general air cryotherapy procedure prevention. All of that allowed decreasing the time of combined modality treatment per two days, decreasing the frequency of primary incapacitation per 12%, to improve patients' quality of life and health conditions, to reduce public money costs for hospital medical treatment, payments for temporary incapacity for work.
