Objectives: to unify the implementation of mutually agreed set of administrative, organizational, technical, methodical, and other practical measures to stocktake archival documents for holding and non-holding organizations that provide the record of their availability, as well as information about their composition, volume and movement in terms of accounting. Methods of research: historical and logical, systematic, functional analysis, analysis and synthesis, abstraction, system-structural, modelling, classification, problem-chronological, contrastive (comparative), typological, retrospective, statistical. Novelty: a comprehensive study of legislative, administrative, organizational, scientific and methodological aspects of documents stocktaking of the NAH. Effectiveness of implementation: analysis and synthesis of legislative, organizational, scientific and applied aspects of the NAH documents stocktaking will facilitate optimization of keeping archival records in the state archival institutions.
