The purpose of performing research - to improve the mechanization process of making straw bedding in accordance with the zootechnical requirements and improve the comfort conditions of the cattle in the pits. Research Methods - statistical, analytical, patent information and experimental data treatment with the computer. Analysis of modern means for spreading litter cattle ( in the main foreign production ) shows that their main drawbacks are discrepancy their zootechnical requirements: dust formation (mechanical irritation of the eyes , mouth , respiratory organs, etc.) at distribution of litter or creating adverse conditions of sanitation when preliminary moistening straw (reduction of a rest period of cattle, reproduction of microorganisms, diseases of the skin and extremities, the occurrence of mastitis ) . Also disadvantages of the equipment is large power consumption of process and their cost. Results obtained: defined zootechnical and technological requirements for the introduction of bedding material in technology loose housing animals . Defined the main types, design and construction features of barns in technology loose housing animals. Developed a feasibility study of equipment for making litter. Determined the technical characteristics and the analyzed the stationary and mobile means for grinding the straw pulp . Defined zootechnical and technological drawbacks of existing distributors of litter . Defined technological requirements for equipment for the preparation and introduction of litter. Defined physical and mechanical properties of straw and sand (on the example of existing facilities) as bedding materials and litter of them , as well as patterns of change in litter properties (temperature, humidity, composition), and determined their mathematical polynomial models, depending on the distance entry into boxing. Developed kinematic scheme of chain drive with interchangeable pairs of sprockets of rotor - finger working body from the drive circuit of the base equipment- compact distributor. Developed scheme and prepared stand with a fragment of the boxed equipment for testing of the developed distributor of litter . Manufactured the preproduction model of mobile distributor of litter with rotary - finger organ and conducted his bench testing with regulated electric rotor. Constructively - operating parameters of the spreader : rotor diameter - 500 mm, shaft diameter - 50mm , length of fingers - 225 mm, diameter of fingers - 12 mm, number of rows of fingers - 4 , the number of fingers in a row - 4 (8) , the optimal velocity of the rotor - 270 rev / min. , spreading distance of litter- up to 3m.
