The purpose of the work is production technology reprocessing of high alumina ramming mixes and dry mixes. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographic, thermo-mechanical ones.The comparison researches of influence of silica organic binder Silres MK produced by "Wacher Chemic AG", microsilica MS-968 produced by "Elkem Materials", fume quartz grade of "A" (Standard 9077-82) produced by "STARK" Co Ltd and liquid grade of "ГКЖ-11К" (corresponded to technical requirement TU U 24-1-00203625-128:2006) on the properties of samples from ramming mullite corundum mixes grade of "ММК-90" and "ММКБФ" have been carried out. It has been determined, that using of microsilica MS-968, fume quartz grade of "A" and liquid grade of "ГКЖ-11К" provides considerable increasing compressing strength of samples: ~ 1.5-1.7 and ~ 1.4-1.9 times more after firing at 1100°С for mixes grade of "ММК-90" and "ММКБФ", accordingly, and ~ 1.3-1.4 times more after firing at 1580°С for both mixes. With relation to economy and technology, the using of fume quartz grade of "A" as silica containing addition in the composition of ramming mullite corundum mixes is the most expedient.The amount influence of fused alumina magnesia spinel produced by PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" with ratio Al2O3 to MgO = 85:15 on the properties of samples from dry corundum spinel mix grade of "CKШ" has been researched. The optimal amount of alumina magnesia spinel in the composition of corundum spinel mix has been determined. The application of optimal amount of fused alumina magnesia spinel in the composition of the indicated mix, at keeping principal physicochemical characteristics of the corundum spinel mix and samples from it (compressing strength, open porosity, apparent density), provides increasing resistance of samples to slag (by ~ 28 %) in comparison with slag resistance of samples produced from mix containing sintered alumina magnesia spinel AR-78. As a result of carried out researches the characteristics of samples from dry corundum spinel mix have been improved.In PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" the pilot batches of mullite corundum ramming mixes, dry corundum and corundum spinel mixes, mullite corundum mortar, milling fused corundum power, which are intended to metallurgical and machinebuilding plants of Ukraine, have been produced.The work shall be continued in the line of further improvement of production technology of high alumina ramming mixes and dry mixes.
