The purpose of the work is production technology improvement of low cement alumina spinel vibration and mullite corundum self-flowing castables; mastering of improved low cement alumina spinel vibration castable technology. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographic, electron-microscopic, physicomechanical and thermomechanical ones. The comparison researches of influence of high alumina cement type (grade of "ВГЦ-73" produced by PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY", Gorkal-70 produced by "Gorka", Secar 71 and СМА 72 produced by 'Kerneos") on the properties of low cement alumina spinel vibration castable grade of "СГШНЦОБ" and samples from this castable have been carried out. It has been determined the expediency of spinel containing cement CMA 72 using as hydraulic hardening binder, as well as cements grade of "ВГЦ-73", Gorkal-70 and Secar 71, which had been used, in the composition of low cement alumina spinel vibration castable grade of "СГШНЦОБ". The application of cement CMA 72 provides decreasing slag penetration (~ 1.2-1.5 times less) of the samples from low cement alumina spinel vibration castable grade of "СГШНЦОБ", as well as allows decreasing production cost price of the indicated castable, because amount of alumina magnesia spinel AR-78 decreases in the composition of this castable and the above mentioned spinel can be used without milling.The researches of amount influence of milling fume quartz grade of "A" with particle size < 50 m (Standard 9077-82) produced by "STARK" Co Ltd on the properties of low cement mullite corundum self-flowing castable grade of "СМКНЦБС-1" and samples from this castable have been carried out. The application of the indicated material improves sintering and intensities process of mullite formation due to strength of samples increases ~ 1.5 times more and their open porosity decreases ~ 3 times less firing at 1450°С. As a result of carried out researches the new kind of product (low cement mullite corundum self-flowing castable grade of "СМКНЦБС-3" with quartz containing addition) has been developed.Taking into attention the results of researches, which had been carried out (report about research work № 4.4-949-2012), in PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" the production technology of low cement alumina spinel vibration castable grade of "СГШНЦОБ-2" with brown corundum has been mastered. The indicated castable was intended for tests at one of machinebuilding plants of Ukraine.In PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" the pilot batches of different castables and refractory products based on them have been produced and intended to customers.The work shall be continued in the line of further improvement of production technology of low cement castables and expanding of their production and application values.
