Determination of strontium -90 in the sea water is the precipitation of alkali metals, including strontium, together with its radioactive isotopes in the form of carbonates. Extraction of strontium from carbonate concentrate is conducted by the method of co-precipitation. Activity of strontium-90 is determined by its daughters Itrium-90. After accumulation of Yttrium-90 it was isolated from the solution in the form of hydroxides, and activity was determined by the device UMF- 1500M..
