The purpose of the research is to estimate the quality of marine environment by biological methods. The methods of the research is to investigate marine organisms on population (biocenotic) level. Investigations were carried out in the areas with different levels of anthropogenic press on the ecosystem with the comparative analysis of the areas. Hydrobiological observations on the components of marine ecosystem of the Black Sea were carried out during the years 2008-2012, We got and analyzed the scientific information on the status of phytoplankton and photosynthetic pigments, zooplankton, meiobenthos and macrozoobenthos different areas of the sea. Ecological criteria for the state of biota which allow to estimate the quality of the marine environment on the basis of hydrobiological indicators were derived.
