A purpose of work is determination of the state of contamination of atmospheric air of cities of north-western black sea Region. It is shown that an ecological situation is in seashore cities, without regard to diminishing of extrass from stationary sources remains unfavorable in connection with the general technical and technological senescence of production, exploitation of out-of-date equipment, absence of of equipment of cleaning of off-gas, height of amount of vehicles. The further height of amount of vehicles will assist the increase of extrass and, as a result, worsening of the state of atmospheric air. The results of researches that were used when choosing of place of location on the program ЕМЕП.
