The purpose of research is monitoring and assessment of pollution in the Black Sea. Results of work - regular monitoring data are presented , which was carried out by the UkrSCES and State Inspectorate of protection north- western region of the Black Sea and the State Inspectorate of the Black and Azov Seas, the study of marine water quality, sediment and biota samples, which were selected on the monitoring station of Odessa National University on the island "Zmeinyi", and was also studied open sea area near the Danube delta and in the North-Western shelf of the Odessa region.
