Research methods: the chemical, physical-chemical, namely electrochemical and thermogravimetric synthesis methods of lamellar graphite compounds. Theoretical and practical results: the lamellar compounds of graphite which can be used in casting and welding industry, has been obtained. Novelty: the above results were obtained for the first time. The practical significance of the results: the use of obtained lamellar graphite compounds for riser heat insulation allows reducing the metal consumption by 5-8% of the casting weight.
