Purpose of the study - the process of reaching a political agreement in the modern political process as a political action. The aim of the study is defined mechanisms that shape conciliatory relationships between members of society and actors in the political process; to identify the nature of politics and ways to optimize the current development of Ukrainian society. Research methods. The basis of the research methodology laid general theoretical principles and approaches (political, social, philosophical, cultural, historical and legal) to determine the constitution and institutionalization of political consensus in modern conditions of political development. We used general scientific methods such as systematic, comparative, historical, structural and functional, general logical, empirical and analytical methods, modeling and abstraction, analysis and synthesis, prediction, and others. Results and novelty. .To Understand the nature of political consensus applied theory of the mechanism of social assessment, it used the so-called political effects assessment - political facilitation and political inhibition. Political faslitatsiya provides a stimulating influence of some political actors on the behavior of others. Political inhibition is manifested in the politico-psychological effect retroactive effect. These aspects directly affect the formation of political consensus in society. Proved that the existence of political consensus in society and political unity of the body is an important indicator of the level of compliance with existing forms of political life, social and economic relations, and spiritual potential of society. Political agreement serves as a means of achieving political integrity resulting from the integration and harmonization of individual interests. Defined growing role of compromise to overcome contradictions and discrepancies between political actors; reveal the capabilities of modern engineering in the field of optimization political activity from the perspective of technology and mechanisms of political decision-making, preparation and conduct political negotiations. The ways and forms of political activity improvement to address pressing socio-political and economic problems of the transformation process of modern Ukraine. Proved that the form of direct vote of the citizens in certain circumstances may be driving forces, despite the fact that in terms of the spread of information technology recognizes the leading form of democracy in the world. However, at this stage of transformational changes in modern Ukraine, they contain a danger to the economic and political systems of society because of the possibility of manipulation of public opinion by the different actors of the new socio-political process. The conditions of free and unimpeded activities of the opposition as a political and economic actor transformational change. Verified forecast for the differences in the current electoral law, which may lead to conflicts and disputes before the election. Made recommendations to address these disputes and improving technologies of electoral campaigns. The practical significance of the results is that they can be used for improving the forms of interaction among the political process; theoretical calculations and practical recommendations are useful for political actors, including representatives of political parties, movements and political elite, etc .; for a better understanding of political processes, connections and relationships arising and emerging political system of Ukraine. The research materials could be used in the classroom while teaching courses in political science, sociology, political psychology, political conflict studies, courses in higher education, such as "forms of political participation", "Political Behavior," "Political Culture", "Formation civil society "and others.
