The analysis of the forms of beta-spectra and developed event generator to simulate the response of detectors to beta and gamma activity of radionuclides 40K, 90Sr and 137Cs were done. Calculations of effectiveness of gamma rays from radionuclides 40K, 137Cs, product nucleus 232Th (228Ac, 208Tl), product nucleus 238U (214Bi) were made. Model of combined scintillation detector for optimal conditions of registration and measurement activity in the samples was developed. The segregation of thorium, uranium and their decay products in tungstate crystals scintillation was studied.
