The aim of the research - investigate regularities and mechanisms of cracks initiation in steels with different structures and ratios between their resistance to stress corrosion cracking and corrosion fatigue, corrosion speed and the degree of hydrogenation in hydrogen sulfide environments in dependence on their aggressiveness. Investigation methods - corrosion-mechanical methods, rrosion-electrochemical methods, micro-electrochemical methods, metallographic methods and methods for evaluation of hydrogen concentration in metals. Concentration of hydrogen in steel 17Г1СУ reaches maximum values ~ 29,9-34,0 ml/100 g Mе in solution saturated by hydrogen sulfide independence on corrosion rate and pH. It is investigated that the tendency of low-carbon and low-alloy steels to stress corrosion cracking in NACE solution mainly is defined by concentration of diffusionaly moved hydrogen in the metal and to corrosion fatigue - by hydrogen with larger binding energy of Me-H. In solution NACE crack initiation in steels 20, 30XMA proceeds with prevailing hydrogen embrittlement and steel 17Г1СУ - simultaneous action of corrosion and hydrogen factors. For static and asymmetric cyclic stresses prevailing factor of corrosion-mechanical fracture of steels and 08Х18Н10Т 12Х21Н5Т is hydrogen embrittlement, for the cyclic symmetric and an effect of local corrosion and dissolution.
