According to literature data and obtained results of previous researches results of damage of unit of reducer welding DU 1200 to collector of steam generator PGV-1000M are analyzed. On the base of obtained data the experimental and theoretical base is prepared, methodology for carrying out of study and tests of templates with operational defects from South-Ukrainian NPS are determined. Problems related to defect production in the area of welded joint N 111 were analyzed by modern computer simulation packs (finite elements method), classifying of defects production types is performed, distribution of discontinuities according to the data of experimental measurements by the methods of coercimetery and magnetic memory during equipment operation in different regimes was also carried out. By method of coercimetery and method of magnetic memory investigation and monitoring of stressed-deformed state (SDS) of the metal of welded joint N 111 of reducer Du1200 welding to hot collector of steam generator SGV-1000M of power unit N 3 of SUNPS is performed.
