Ovcharenko Institute of biocolloidal Chemistry NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 The temperature Green's functions of electromagnetic fields in the one-dimensional version of the Maxwell model are found and the associated contributions of the van der Waals attraction in osmotic pressure of plate nano-sized particles in suspension are calculated. Without assumptions about the geometry of the pore space, general relationships are obtained describing the mechanical and chemical effects in nano-structured medium that is in contact with the mixed electrolyte solution, based on which different types of geometries are discussed and the conclusions about the impact of the type of geometry and the role of the mixed electrolyte solution on the behavior of the system are derived. The height of the plates are calculated, which characterizes the expansion of the analyte bands due to hydrodynamic dispersion in the electroosmotic flow. It is demonstrated that the effect of hydrodynamic dispersion on the mass transfer at the surface of a nanoporous plug which blocks the transfer of fluid in the microchannel, can lead to disappearance of the limiting current. The physical mechanism of the important for biotechnology phenomenon - penetration of nano-sized metal particles from the surrounding solution inside a living cell is clarified.
