Ovcharenko Institute of biocolloidal Chemistry NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 The nanomarker was created for biodetection based on localized surface plasmon resonance - nanoprisms-nanocrystals of gold (AuPS-FC) and silver (AgPS-FC), modified by polysaccharides and functionalized by folate calcium or sodium as well as it was proved selective cytotoxic effect of such nanoprisms on blood cancer cells. A new method was created for synthesis under normal conditions in aqueous media of quasi-monodisperse gold nanocrystals (nanoprisms) that was stabilized by polysaccharides with size distribution in the range of 30 ? 70 nm. It was proved experimentally that such functionalization increases selectivity of nanoprisms geterocoagulation with cancer cells compared to non-transformed analogues. Interaction of gold nanoprisms with folate and tumor cells studied by complex of research methods of heterocoagulation of nanoprisms with cells, kinetics of this heterocoagulation, relevant kinetics of cytotoxic effect and by methods of LSPR and micro-Raman spectroscopy. Also proved the effectiveness of the application of nanocrystals AuPS-FC and AgPS- FC for photodynamic therapy intensification - on example of the Lewis lung carcinoma it was shown that the adsorption of the Photolon photosensitizer on gold nanoprisms with previous adsorption layer of Chlorella's polysaccharides enhances the antitumor activity in photodynamic therapy process.
