The conditions for the formation of high-density (> 99%) compact Y3Al5O12 nanomaterials with a grain size of 20-20 nm are established. Developed are the concepts of the control of the phase composition and microstructure of YAG:Nd3+ (1-4 at. %) laser ceramics. The synthesized ceramics is characterized by 82% optical transmittance and 30% laser generation.
