And also method for retrieval of rain parameters with non-uniform intensity profile was proposed. Particularly, usage of received power in each radar range resolution cell at two frequencies was proposed to reduce number of inverse problem solutions. Furthermore, such additional criteria as mode, median, and mean value of the ensemble of the obtained solutions were used to select a single decision. It was shown that proposed approaches for increasing the reliability of the retireval results of uniform rain parameters provide essential reduce of measurement error of drop size distribution parameters, especially for rains with itensity more thatn 5 mm / h (< 5 %). Also algorithm for retrieval of nonuniform profile of rain parameters was developed on the base of double frequency active sensing at each element of radar range resolution. The method is based on using an iterative procedure with the corresponding initial conditions. The numerical simulations showed that the proposed algorithm allows to measure of nonuniform profile of rain intensity with small error.
