The mathematical models and the dependences describing the relative fuel economy of combined systems as compared with existing ones are presented. Calculations in a wide range of the basic parameters of plants are performed, which have shown that the most effective technology for the generation of heat is cogeneration-heat pump. Payback period and the effects of relations of rates for fuel, heat, electricity, unit prices of power equipment, as well as their operating parameters are investigated. Results showed that the payback period depends primarily on the ratio of the price of gas and heat, and should be in the range of 9 ... 11. On the basis of the analysis of the reasons of emergence of defects in the main components of cogeneration units, methods and means of their technical diagnosing prospects of passive acoustic methods of diagnostics are defined. Mathematical models of fluctuation and rhythmic acoustic signals which arise in working units and elements of cogeneration units are systematized. Expediency of use of new diagnostic characteristics and parameters of acoustic signals - the moments, cumulants and probability density functions is proved. Methods, algorithms and programs of their statistical estimation are developed and improved. The laboratory bench for acoustic diagnosing of components of cogeneration units and the recommendation about practical use of acoustic sensors and diagnosing methods for their technical status are developed.
