The methodological basis is presented by general scientific methods, modern theory of network society, archeography, source studies and book studies methods, as well as the methods dealing with the practical implementation of informational technologies in the field of humanities. The actuality of the topic lies in the contribution to treating the issues of historical legacy monuments conservation, which is essential for an independent state, as well as in the fact that the informational sphere of the society receives a wide intellectually processed research material for development of various scientific and cultural areas. The results of research: creation of multi aspect online resources development and formation procedures, development of manuscript, archival and book resources, filling and system representation of these resources as databases for manuscript collections, book and archival collections and gatherings, as well as the preparation of monographs, referential books, articles, collected volumes of scientific papers entitled "Manuscript and Book Heritage of Ukraine", indices and catalogues.
