It was established that phase transitions and solid-phase reaction take place and polyphosphate ceramics consists of hydroxyapatite, (Са5(РО4)3(ОН)), pyrophosphate (Са2Р2О7) and tricalcium phosphate (Са3(РО4)2) that form during sintering with predominance of Са2Р2О7 and Са5(РО4)3(ОН) phases depending on the starting composition. The increase of biogenic hydroxyapatite content from 25 to 75 wt. % leads to decrease of grain size and an increase of pore size. The porosity of ceramics is equal to 40-42% with the predominance of open porosity for all prepared compositions.
